A/B Roll Videos

A/B roll is a term used to describe the process of combining two or more sources of raw footage together with transition effects. Usually shot on location at your place of business, the videographer will shoot both high-definition video footage and HD still photographs. The video (the A-roll) typically captures the main action and the subject talking about their product or service. The photos (the B-roll) typically record peripheral "effects" shots like close-ups, reaction shots, and establishing shots that add drama, variety and context to the primary footage. When edited together, they produce a professional, commercial-like video. A/B roll videos usually range in length from 60-90 seconds. View a sample video.
